Includes the heart upper chest and back. Also called the heart chakra, it’s located at the top of the lower chakras and at the root of the superiors. It’s the center of the Chakra System and the center of love, compassion, balance and peace. Its element is air, and working with the air, in our interaction with the air by breathing, we acquire access to the physical and spiritual heart chakra aspects.

In mythology, Europa was the deity of the Air, and represented the nobility, love, softness, and just for this reason the continent is named Europe. The Celtic cultures were those who honored the feminine and the Mother Earth before the control cultures from the solar plexus such as ottomans, arias, Indo-European and others took power over this chakra. Its basic principle is love which is an expansive state of the spirit that transcends boundaries and limitations; the point of interconnection and gathering of interpenetrating planes. 


That is why, in spite of their crude control policies, which depends on the negative state of the heart, countries and peoples of Europe were intended to expand their essence through the world, melt each other and generate a balanced order among the rest of the human physical body.

The basis of this chakra is balance: what is balanced is long-living; balanced relationships are the lasting ones. If we are in balance with ourselves, our world is more peaceful and with profound peace, but must be a dynamic equilibrium, i.e., it must modify itself continuously over time, allowing us to move freely within our relationship. Love only lasts between equivalent subjects.

This is why, in attempting to regulate the Earth nature, the Unions fail between European people. A lack of self esteem person will hardly establish a lovely relationship with others.


Because some internal balance based on the understanding and acceptance of our personal dualities is required, such as giving and receiving, internal and external, adult and inner child. It is important to pay attention to our needs and respond to them.

When the 4th chakra has an energy deficit, the symptoms are: pressure on the sternum, deep breathing may be difficult and strained, depressed mood, tendency to isolation, lack of self esteem, melancholy, superficial breathing.

If this chakra is completely blocked and closed, the very core of the chakra system gets depressed and energy flows with difficulty between the lower and upper body. It may occur that the person or territory makes a deep division between body and mind, due to historical or childhood trauma, abuse or war, abandonment or embarrassing experiences in childhood, as in this case, the Inquisition and the World Wars.

Too much energy in this chakra generates a psycho-dependant personality or excessive

attachment (when you love a person so much that you forget about yourself) hyperactivity, reluctant mood, isolation, emotional dependence. This is what, in a grand scale, is bringing the great crisis of our planetary heart.

The heart chakra establishes a state of balance within us and in our relationships and opens ourselves to compassion and love. The transit of energy through the heart connects the mind and body, the inner and the outer space, our self and the others, and rewards us with a deep sense of peace and fulfillment.
